MEILONG offers the encapsulation of control lines to provide increased durability, as well as chemical and corrosion resistance to meet each project’s specialized requirements. Our encapsulation types range from HDPE (High Density Polyethylene), Santoprene, PVC (Polyvinyl Chloride), Haylar and PVDF (Polyvinylidene Fluoride).

Encapsulation is a process where a plastic material is extruded over metal tube. It prevents any damage that can occur to the metal tubes during the manufacturing process, while also providing extra abrasion resistance. If cable protectors are needed, encapsulation is required in order to maximize the holding of each tubing connection.

Flatpacks are used when multiple lines are terminated at the same depth in the well. This solution is especially useful for intelligent well systems, deep-set chemical injection lines with downhole gauge cable, and safety valve lines with shallow set chemical injection lines. Our flatpacks also support the use of bumper bars to ensure extra crush resistance.
