Product Description:

Meilong Tube's downhole control lines are mainly used as a pathway for communication in the operation of downhole devices in oil, gas, and water-injection wells. It is essential for these lines to be highly durable and have the capacity to withstand the extreme harsh conditions, making it customizable for various applications and downhole components.

The material is hydrolytically stable and is compatible with all kinds of well completion fluids, including high-pressure gas. The selection for optimal material is based on bottomhole temperature, hardness, tensile and tear strength, water absorption and gas permeability, oxidation, and abrasion and chemical resistance. Furthermore, many tests have been conducted to guarantee its reliable performance, such as through the crush testing and high-pressure autoclave well simulation.

TP316L, an austenitic chromium-nickel stainless steel with molybdenum, is well-known for its excellent corrosion-resistance with organic acids under high concentrations and temperatures, inorganic acids like phosphoric and sulphuric acids (up to concentrations above precent 90 below low temperatures), salt solutions, sulphates, sulphides and sulphites, as well as caustic environments. Its low carbon content also gives it better protection against intergranular corrosion than other types, such as TP316. However, it would be wise to avoid potential stress corrosion cracking from occurring at temperatures above 140°F when exposed to high tension in contact with certain solutions, particularly containing chlorides.

We offer a range of options, including single, double, or triple flat-packs. These can be bundled with downhole electrical cables and/or bumper wires to make installation and handling easier.
