Product Description:

Meilong Tube's unique manufacturing capabilities and processes allow us to produce the longest continuous chemical injection line tubing available in stainless steels and high nickel alloys. Our long length tubing coils are designed for extensive use with subsea and onshore chemical injection wells. They come without orbital welds, reducing the risk of defects and failures. Moreover, our coils boast an extremely clean and smooth inside surface, providing excellent and quick hydraulic response time, great collapse strength, and eliminating methanol permeation.

Chemical injection is a method of running a small-diameter conduit alongside production tubulars in order to inject inhibitors or other treatments during production. Particularly in high hydrogen sulfide [H2S] concentrations or severe scale deposition conditions, injection of chemical treatments and inhibitors can help. However, fluids with high foaming tendency may require mechanical or chemical solutions for effective implementation. Mechanical foam-breaking devices like low-shear inlet momentum breakers are preferred for subsea applications, as they are more cost-effective to install and operate compared to a chemical injection system.

When it comes to a three-phase separation, stability of the oil/water emulsion/dispersion depends on such factors as viscosities of the oil and water, concentrations of surface-active impurities, as well as changes in water cut. Generally, surface destabilizing chemicals and addition of heat will solve the problem. Once the emulsion is broken down, mechanical packs can be used to make droplets coalescence and settling even faster.

In subsea operations, an umbilical is required to provide power, control, and chemical injection for the seabed processing facilities. These may include high-voltage power, remote-control and monitoring signals, as well as chemicals such as corrosion inhibitors, naturally occurring compounds, corrosion products, and formation fines.

 

Features:

 

Every tubing coil is free of orbital welds and is one continual length. It undergoes a hydrostatic test with a pressure rating of 10,150 psi or higher. Third party inspectors from SGS, BV, or DNV can witness the test on site.

 

Additional tests may be conducted, such as eddy current, chemical, flattening, flaring, tensile, yield, elongation, and hardness, in order to ensure high quality materials.
