Meilong Tube manufactures high quality, seamless and redrawn, seam-welded and redrawn coiled tubing. These tubing products are made from corrosion-resistant austenitic, duplex, super duplex stainless steel and nickel alloy grades.
These products are used primarily as hydraulic power control lines, chemical injection lines, alloy tubing in umbilicals, and instrumentation tubing for the exploitation engineering in the upstream oil and gas industry.
Coiled tubing is available in outer diameters ranging from 0.125 inch (3.175 millimeters) to 1 inch (25.4 millimeters), with wall thickness up to 0.083 inch (2.108 millimeters). They are also offered in lengths up to 65600 feet (20,000 meters) to ensure cost-effective production for umbilical manufacturing. Customers can also customize their orders for special sizes not within the scope.
At Meilong Tube, we understand that the oil & gas industry demands extreme safety for extractions in deeper and harsher waters, so we are dedicated to helping you procure the right corrosion-resistant materials for your coiled umbilical tubing to increase safety and reliability.
Furthermore, we strive to give customers cost-effective tubing products with a comprehensive value-added chain in tubing production. We want to ensure high performance products and customer satisfaction.
Incoloy alloy 825, a nickel-iron-chromium alloy with additions of molybdenum and copper, is designed to provide exceptional resistance to many corrosive environments. This nickel steel alloy is similar to alloy 800 but with improved resistance to aqueous corrosion.
It has excellent resistance to both reducing and oxidizing acids, to stress-corrosion cracking, and to localized attack such as pitting and crevice corrosion. Alloy 825 is especially resistant to sulfuric and phosphoric acids. This nickel steel alloy is used in chemical processing, pollution-control equipment, oil and gas well piping, nuclear fuel reprocessing, acid production, and pickling equipment.
Incoloy 825 is an alloy made of: Nickel, Chromium, Iron, Molybdenum, Carbon, Manganese, Silicon, Sulfur, Aluminum, Titanium, and Copper in percent.
The minimum of each component is: 38.0% for Nickel, 19.5% for Chromium, 22.0% for Iron, 2.5% for Molybdenum, 0.05% for Carbon, 1.0% for Manganese, 0.5% for Silicon, 0.03% for Sulfur, 0.2% for Aluminum, 0.6-1.2% for Titanium, and 1.5-3.0% for Copper. The maximum of each component is no more than the maximum limit.
In terms of equivalent grade, Incoloy 825 can be also called with UNS No. N08825, Euro norm No. 2.4858 and NiCr21Mo.
Tolerance level of ASTM B704 / ASME SB704, UNS N08825 and UNS N06625, ASTM B751 / ASME SB751 refers to the size of OD less than 5/8’’ with tolerance of ±0.004’’ (±0.10 mm) w.r.t. OD and ±12.5% w.r.t WT. The size of OD larger than 5/8’’ has tolerance of ±0.0075’’ (±0.19 mm) w.r.t. OD, and ±12.5% w.r.t WT.
As for Meilong Tube Standard, the tolerance of OD and WT refers to 0.004’’ (0.10 mm) and ±10% for OD less than 5/8’’ (15.88 mm), and ±8% for OD larger than 5/8’’ (15.88 mm).
As for ASTM B423 / ASME SB423, UNS N08825, the tolerance of OD and WT refers to 0.003’’ (+0.08 mm) and ±10% for OD less than 3/16’’ (4.76 mm), 0.004’’ (+0.10 mm) and ±10% for OD between 3/16’’ (4.76 mm) and 1/2’’ (12.7 mm), and 0.005’’ (+0.13 mm) and ±10% for OD larger than 1/2’’ (12.7 mm). For Meilong Tube Standard, the tolerance refers to 0.003’’ (+0.08 mm) and ±10%, 0.004’’ (+0.10 mm) and ±10%, and 0.004’’ (+0.10 mm) and ±8% respectively.
Nickel alloy tubing is supplied in the annealed condition. They come in continuous length without orbital joint welds.
It is important to note that all the pressures are based on minimum wall thickness, and the strength requirement of 100°F (38°C) in a neutral and static environment.
