Product Description:

Meilong Tube's downhole control lines are an ideal solution for communication conduits to hydraulically operated downhole device in oil, gas, and water-injection wells due to their robustness and resilience in extreme conditions. These lines can be customised to suit a wide range of applications and components.

The encapsulation material used has great hydrolytic steadiness and is conformable to all usual well completion liquid, even when high-pressure gas is involved. The selection of material follows certain criterion like bottomhole temperature, hardness, tensile and tear strength, water absorption, gas permeability, oxidation, abrasion, and chemical resistance.

To further push out boundaries and make sure they are suited for many purposes, these control lines have gone through and multiple rounds of experiments such as crushing tests and simulations of high-pressure autoclave wells. Crushing tests were employed to determine how high the loading capacity of encapsulated tubing can be, especially when combining wire-strand “bumper wires” together.

 

Features:

Control lines can reach up to a length of 40,000 feet (12,192 m) and are produced in a way that maximizes their reliability by avoiding orbital welds.

Our control lines come in a range of options, including single, dual, and triple flat-packs, which can be combined with downhole electrical cables and/or bumper wires. This combination allows for easy transport and operation.

The production method we use ensures that the control lines are a smooth, round tube allowing the line to have long-term metal sealing of the terminations. The materials used to encapsulate the lines are chosen to suit the well conditions and can endure the duration of its use.

 

Technical Parameters:

Our seamless & floating internal plug redrawn tubing is supplied in the annealed condition, and it is continuous length without a orbital joint weld. Our stainless steel 316L material is certified UNS S31603.

Theoretical burst pressure is based on the minimum wall thickness and minimum tensile strength. Theoretical collapse pressure is based on the minimum wall thickness and minimum yield strength. The pressure rating is based on 100°F (38°C) neutral and static conditions; use at temperatures above 100°F (38°C) may reduce the collapse and burst pressures.
