Meilong Tube's downhole control lines are mainly used as conduits for communicating hydraulic-driven downhole devices that can function in oil, gas, and water-injection wells, and that need to be able to withstand harsh conditions. These control lines have been subject to meticulous development attempts, through the implementation of experiments such as crush testing and mimics of high-pressure autoclaves. During the laboratory crush tests, the functionality has shown to keep steady during greater stress, especially when using "bumper wires" of steel fiber strands.
Our Control lines come in orbital-weld-free lengths up to 40,000 ft (12,192 m), ultimately ensuring maximum reliability. We offer a vast range of single, dual, or triple flat-packs for various applications. Plus, our Flat-packs can be combined with downhole electrical cables and/or bumper wires for a smoother operation and handling during deployment.
Moreover, the welded-and-plug-drawn production method guarantees an even, round tube to ultimately allow long-term metal sealing of terminations. In addition, to maximize efficiency, the encapsulation materials we use are meticulously chosen to suit well conditions, thus granting both longevity and reliability.
The seamless and floating internal plug redrawn tubing comes in the annealed condition. It is supplied in continuous length without orbital joint welds. The theoretical burst pressure is based on minimum wall thickness, and minimum tensile strength. The theoretical collapse is determined by the minimum wall thickness, as well as the minimum yield strength.
