Stainless Steel 316L Chemical Injection Line Capillary Tubing with 3 / 8 '' OD x 0.065 '' WT
One of the main challenges in the upstream processes of the oil and gas industry is to protect pipeline and process equipment against waxes, scaling and asphalthane deposits. The engineering disciplines involved in flow assurance play an essential part in mapping the requirements that reduce or prevent loss of production due to pipeline or process equipment blockage. Coiled tubing from Meilong Tube is applied to umbilicals and chemical injection systems play an effective role in chemical storage and delivery at an optimizing flow assurance.
Our tubing is characterized with integrity and quality to be specially used in subsea conditions in the industries of oil and gas extraction.
Meilong Tube manufactures corrosion resistant alloy hydraulic control line tubing products for a variety of upstream oil and gas and geothermal applications. Meilong Tube has extensive experience in producing coiled tubing from duplex, nickel alloy and stainless steel grades to industry and customer-specific requirements.
Application
To assure produced fluid flow and protect your production infrastructure from plugging and corrosion, you need reliable injection lines for your production chemical treatments. Chemical injection lines from Meilong Tube help enhance the efficiency of your production equipment and lines, both downhole and at surface.
Importance of Injection Line Capillary Tubing
Each one tubing coil is a completely continuous length without orbital welds.
Each one tubing coil is hydrostatic tested at minimum 11,600 psi.
The test can be witnessed on site by the third party inspectors (SGS, BV, DNV).
Other tests are eddy current test, chemicals, flattening, flaring, tensile, yield, elongation, hardness for the material quality.
Vacuum Annealing for Injection Lines
Meilong Tube takes special care during manufacturing to assure cleanliness of inside surface and outside surface of control lines & chemical injection lines. Vacuum annealing insures volatility of metallic oxides and removal of any residual degreasing solvents or drawing lubricants. Vacuum annealing our alloy tubing insures a bright, cosmetically appealing surface as well as excellent mechanical properties.

TP316L is an austenitic chromium-nickel stainless steel with molybdenum and a low carbon content.
Corrosion Resistance Suitable for Down Hole Applications
Organic acids at high concentrations and moderate temperatures
Inorganic acids, e.g. phosphoric and sulphuric acids, at moderate concentrations and temperatures. The steel can also be used in sulphuric acid of concentrations above 90% at low temperature.
Salt solutions, e.g. sulphates, sulphides and sulphites
Austenitic steels are susceptible to stress corrosion cracking. This may occur at temperatures above about 60°C (140°F) if the steel is subjected to tensile stresses and at the same time comes into contact with certain solutions, particularly those containing chlorides. Such service conditions should therefore be avoided. Conditions when plants are shut down must also be considered, as the condensates which are then formed can develop conditions that lead to both stress corrosion cracking and pitting.
TP316L has a low carbon content and therefore better resistance to intergranular corrosion than steels of type TP316.
